Mit der GS durch knietiefes Wasser - kein Problem. Leider nicht ganz!
Ein kleines unscheinbares Ventil am Kardan sorgt für die nötige Belüftung und den Druckausgleich im Innern des Gehäuses. Gerät das Entlüftungsventil unter Wasser, kann Feuchtigkeit in den Kardan gesaugt werden und damit den Endantrieb schädigen.
Die Lösung des Problems: die Verlegung der Kardan-Entlüftung an eine geschützte Position.
Mittels zweier robuster, aus Aluminium gedrehter Anschlussstücke und einem widerstandsfähigem Schlauch, wird das Ventil ohne großen Aufwand an eine sichere Stelle am Fahrzeug verlegt.
